Sailing holiday in Ibiza

Destination & Charter Guide In Ibiza

One of the main three islands of the Balearics is the beautiful white isle of Ibiza. Choosing to go on a yacht charter to Ibiza in the summer will give you and your party the chance to see some of the amazing anchorages, clubs in the bay of Cala Tarida and the party nightlife that the island has to offer in San Antonio. Your holiday will offer you natural beauty in the Mediterranean along with registered U.N World Heritage sites also known as ‘God’s Finger’ in the Benirras Bay. Chartering a boat in Ibiza will give you endless opportunities both onshore and offshore so there will be an experience for the whole of the party.

The island offers a 125 meter stretch of coastline is filled with lots of tiny coves and more than fifty white sandy beaches, stylish hotels, restaurants, bars and clubs and is the closest of all the Balearic Islands to the mainland of Spain as well as the neighbour Caribbean- like island of Formentera which can be included in your charter itinerary option. Sail across to the uninhabited island of Es Vedra for breath-taking landscape and crystal clear waters to pull out the water toys or spend the day snorkelling and exploring what is beneath the waters surface.

Travelling back to dry land why not head over to the laid back village of Santa Eulalia for a day of catching the rays on the white sandy beaches the town is also the home to an exclusive yacht marina which is an ideal spot for tourists and families that are looking for a peaceful holiday. If you are in the area on the 24th August why not take the chance view the spectacular firework display to celebrate the fiesta of Saint Bartholomew.

The north of Ibiza you will find something a little more remote but perfect for those travellers that love to explore is the walking the cliff-top trail that runs from Portinatx to the lighthouse. For a bit more of a relaxing day out why not take your Ibiza yacht charter and visit some of the more secluded soft sandy beaches such as Es Cubelles, Cala Codolar, Agua Blanca or Cala Llarga.

The white isle is known for the constant eastern winds so it is a great holiday destination for a sailing yacht charter. If you prefer a more busier time of year with high temperatures then the best time to visit the island would be between the summer months of July and August. If you and your party are looking for more peaceful time but with still some good weather then the better time to visit would be during the spring and autumn months.
