Website & Booking Terms (24 Sailing Holiday)

Last updated: January 2026

These Website & Booking Terms (“Terms”) apply to your use of the 24 Sailing Holiday website and any enquiries, subscriptions, or bookings made through it.

1. About Us

1.1 24 Sailing Holiday is a trading name of 24hrs Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

1.2 Contact details are provided on our website using an email display function (“Show email”) to reduce automated scraping. You can also contact us via the website contact form.

1.3 We aim to provide a responsive service and may operate a 24-hour service. Where applicable, any out-of-hours support may be subject to prior appointment and availability.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

2.1 By accessing or using our website, submitting an enquiry, subscribing to our emails, or making a booking, you confirm you accept these Terms.

2.2 If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the website.

3. Our Role (Important)

3.1 We act as an independent yacht charter specialist and intermediary. Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, we are not the yacht owner or operator.

3.2 The charter contract for your holiday will usually be between you and the yacht owner/operator (or their appointed management company/central agency), even where booking is facilitated through our website.

3.3 We may assist you with selecting yachts, comparing options, and coordinating the booking process. We do not control the operation of yachts, the actions of crew, or the performance of third-party service providers.

4. Website Content, Availability and Accuracy

4.1 We publish information in good faith, including information provided by yacht owners, operators, fleet managers and third-party systems.

4.2 We do not guarantee that listings, specifications, photographs, availability, itineraries, prices, or descriptions are complete, current, or error-free at all times.

4.3 All yachts, dates and prices are subject to availability, confirmation, and change without notice.

4.4 If you require confirmation of any detail (e.g., equipment, cabins, air conditioning, generator, water toys, safety equipment, crew arrangements, berthing, licences, or special requirements), you must request this and we will seek confirmation from the operator.

5. Enquiries and Quotations

5.1 Submitting an enquiry does not create a booking.

5.2 Quotes are indicative until confirmed in writing and may change due to availability, seasonality, operator pricing updates, taxes, and fees (including marina fees where applicable).

5.3 We may decline enquiries at our discretion, including where requirements cannot reasonably be met.

6. Bookings, Payments and Stripe

6.1 Where booking is enabled, payments may be taken via our website and processed securely by third-party payment providers such as Stripe.

6.2 We do not store full payment card details on our servers. Stripe processes payment information in accordance with its own terms and security standards.

6.3 Depending on the operator and yacht, bookings may require a deposit and a balance payment by set dates. The required schedule and any applicable fees will be provided at the time of booking.

6.4 You are responsible for ensuring payment details are correct and that funds are available. Failed payments may result in cancellation or loss of reservation, subject to operator terms.

7. Third-Party Booking Platforms and Providers

7.1 We may use third-party booking and inventory systems (for example Booking Manager/MMK or similar) to display yachts, manage enquiries, and facilitate bookings.

7.2 We are not responsible for technical errors, downtime, display issues, or delays caused by third-party platforms, but we will take reasonable steps to assist where issues are reported.

8. Operator Charter Terms

8.1 Your booking will be subject to the charter operator’s terms, including payment schedule, security deposit, check-in/check-out times, usage rules, cancellation policy, and conduct requirements.

8.2 Where operator terms apply, we will provide them during the booking process or upon request.

8.3 If there is a conflict between operator charter terms and these Terms, operator charter terms will generally apply to the charter itself, and these Terms will apply to your use of our website and our services.

9. Cancellations, Changes and Refunds

9.1 Cancellation and refund terms vary by operator, yacht, and season and will be confirmed at the time of booking.

9.2 Requested changes (dates, itinerary, yacht type, passenger numbers) are subject to availability and may incur operator charges.

9.3 Refunds (if any) will be processed in accordance with the applicable booking terms and payment processor requirements.

9.4 We strongly recommend travel insurance covering cancellation, curtailment, medical issues, and disruption.

10. Force Majeure

10.1 Neither party will be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control including (without limitation) severe weather, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, epidemics/pandemics, port closures, government restrictions, labour disputes, or failures of utilities/telecommunications.

10.2 In such circumstances, refunds and alternatives are governed by operator terms and applicable law.

11. Client Responsibilities

11.1 You are responsible for ensuring you and your party have valid travel documents (including passports/visas where required) and meet any health/fitness requirements.

11.2 You must follow safety instructions on board and comply with local laws and operator rules.

11.3 You are responsible for any loss, damage, or fines arising from your party’s actions, subject to operator terms and any security deposit arrangements.

11.4 You are responsible for assessing whether a destination, yacht type, and itinerary are suitable for your family, including children and non-swimmers.

12. Insurance

12.1 You should obtain appropriate travel insurance including medical, cancellation, liability, and disruption cover.

12.2 Yacht insurance is typically held by the owner/operator but does not replace your personal travel insurance.

13. Marketing Emails

13.1 If you opt in, we may send marketing emails about sailing holidays, destinations and related offers.

13.2 You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in our emails or by contacting us via the website.

14. Privacy and Cookies

14.1 Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data.

14.2 Our Cookie Policy explains how cookies and analytics (including Google Analytics) are used and how you manage preferences.

14.3 By using our website, you acknowledge and agree to those policies.

15. Limitation of Liability

15.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

15.2 Subject to 15.1, we are not liable for:

(a) losses arising from acts/omissions of yacht owners/operators, crew, marinas, airlines, accommodation providers or other third parties;

(b) indirect or consequential losses;

(c) loss of enjoyment, loss of profit, or business interruption.

15.3 Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to fees paid directly to us in relation to the relevant service.

16. Intellectual Property

16.1 All website content (text, branding, logos, images, and layout) is owned by or licensed to 24hrs Ltd and may not be reproduced without permission.

17. Acceptable Use

17.1 You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malware, scrape content, or interfere with site functionality.

17.2 We may restrict access if misuse is suspected.

18. Changes to These Terms

18.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page.

18.2 Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

19. Governing Law

19.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and disputes shall be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
